I’m sure that you’ve heard about MeToo movement recent days. Seoul YWCA had an Open forum for ‘MeToo Movement and Media report’ to eradicate the violence of gender on 20 th , March at Seoul YWCA auditorium. This forum was to indicate the problem how media report the issue related with MeToo and to discuss what should we do to improve this matter. Seoul YWCA has worked to advance women’s right since 1922, and is still working on support women who stepped out to explain what they experienced. Women had endured for a long time before MeToo movement came out, and this is a new wave that they are no longer hiding their experience related with sexual violence. With this new wave, Media reports these issues every day, but they are missing something really important only by focusing sexually provocative subject. “Let’s make the world without violence with strength of Women." Seoul YWCA and nationwide of YWCA of Korea members gathered in front of YWCA building and chanted “#MeToo” and “#WithYou” in an International Women’s Day rally. They marched the rally from YWCA Korea building through Central Street of Myeongdong, to show public solidarity and to support #Me Too movement, eradicate the sexual violence.
