Seoul YWCA monitored the five most famous webtoon producers in June, 2021. There are only one gender equality scene in a webtoon and 110 sexist scenes were found among 989 webtoon series. Seoul YWCA monitored 87 children Youtube animations produced in Korea.  The most serious sexist scenes were to reinforce gender stereotype by the main characters. We are worried about the fact that these animations would affect kids critical thinking of gender roles.
